We had a wonderful family getaway with our kids. The shack exceeded our expectations with its spacious and comfortable setup, however, a few updates would make it truly special. The kids loved the playgrounds and pool area, making for an enjoyable stay. The facilities could use some modern touches, and the price felt a bit high for the older accommodations.

The cabins weren't as clean as expected, with noticeable issues in the bathrooms and beds. The location and various amenities kept the kids entertained, but a few improvements are needed.

We stayed in a Salt Bush Shack which felt like it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. There was hair and mould in the bathroom, and other little messes around the cabin. The single beds were uncomfortable, making for restless nights.

Our stay was a bit of a mixed bag. The location is superb, just a short walk to the beach and great for family fun. The new saltwater shacks we booked were spacious and modern, making for a pleasant stay. On the downside, the king bed was too firm for comfort, and the kitchen couch could have been more comfortable. Overall, we had a great time, especially enjoying the amazing pool area, but there's just room for some improvements on comfort.

We had a fantastic family getaway at the West Beach Retreat, where the sand dune shacks provided a cozy experience despite some wild weather. The kids were always entertained, especially by the amazing pool area with slides. Although the saltwater shack beds could be improved for comfort, the overall value and amenities made our stay lovely. It's very family-friendly, making it the perfect destination for relaxing and unwinding together.

The location of the resort is great, nestled close to the beach, and the kids had a blast with the various facilities, but the cleanliness of our accommodation left a lot to be desired. While the cabin was spacious and in a beautiful area, it seemed that it hadn't been cleaned properly before our arrival. Overall, it was decent value for the price, though improvements in maintenance are necessary.
